Our Mission

TheLeanChurch.com is committed to providing affordable Lean resource tools and training to all church leaders seeking to improve operations and build a solid foundation for a healthy church.

Our Vision

Our vision is to educate a global membership of church leaders in driving process improvement principles through church ministries around the world so they may better fulfill the Great Comandment and the Great Commission.

Our Values

  1.  We believe the management of personnel and resources are to be guided by biblical principles. This includes the concepts of stewardship of time, money, and abilities. (2 Corinthians 8:20-21)
  2. We believe every Christian should seek to influence their network of friends toward accepting Christ. This includes the concept of personal witness through friendship evangelism and a life of integrity. (Luke 14:23)
  3. We believe personal and corporate worship is vital to the spiritual health of every Christian.  This includes the spiritual disciplines of personal prayer and Bible study, thus building a dynamic personal relationship with God. (2 Timothy 3:16)
  4. We believe every Christian should be spirit-filled and be fully devoted to Christ. This includes the concepts of personal integrity, holiness and wholeness. (Ephesians 4:25-26)
  5. We believe Christian community  should be a loving, intergenerational, unified community of mutually accountable servants of Christ. This includes the concepts of affirmation, confrontation, vulnerability, and relational problem solving. (Matthew 18:15-20; John 8:31-32)
  6. We believe the church is called to make disciples of Christ because lost people matter to God. This includes the concept of world missions support and targeting ministry to those outside the church. (Matthew 28:16-20; 2 Peter 3:9)
  7.  We believe excellence honours God, therefore we will give Him our best. This includes the concepts of evaluation and improvement.  (1 Corinthians 3:13)
  8. We believe life-related Bible teaching is a foundational catalyst for life change. This includes the concepts of teaching for life change, encouraging obedience to the Scriptures, not knowledge alone. (James 1:22)
